Start leaking information or some nonsense?\u201d Meyer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/32855042\/urban-meyer-denies-jacksonville-jaguars-reports-there-source-source-unemployed\">said<\/a> after the game. \u201cNo. No, that\u2019s nonsense. That\u2019s garbage. I\u2019ve been very blessed. I\u2019ve not really dealt with that. I\u2019ve not dealt with, \u2018Well, did you hear what he said?\u2019 What? No. Let\u2019s improve on offense and get our quarterback in a position to be successful. Left leg forward, right leg back,\u201d Lambo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tampabay.com\/sports\/bucs\/2021\/12\/15\/former-jaguars-kicker-josh-lambo-says-he-was-kicked-by-urban-meyer-during-warmups\/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_content=%40TBTimes_Sports&amp;utm_medium=social\">said<\/a>. \u201c\u2026 Urban Meyer, while I\u2019m in that stretch position, comes up to me and says, \u2018Hey Dips\u2013t, make your f\u2013king kicks!\u2019 And kicks me in the leg.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lambo characterized the kick as a \u201cfive (out of 10),\u201d and then told Meyer \u201c\u2018Don\u2019t you ever f\u2013king kick me again!\u201d Meyer allegedly responded by saying \u201cI\u2019m the head ball coach, I\u2019ll kick you whenever the f\u2013k I want.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As he did on Sunday, Meyer denied the allegations, saying Lambo\u2019s story was \u201ccompletely inaccurate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJosh\u2019s characterization of me and this incident is completely inaccurate, and there are eyewitnesses to refute his account,\u201d Meyer said. \u201c[General manager] Trent [Baalke] and I met with him on multiple occasions to encourage his performance, and this was never brought up. I was fully supportive of Josh during his time with the team and wish him nothing but the best.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lambo told the newspaper that Meyer approached him the next day at the team facility, telling Lambo he would be off the team if he spoke to Meyer in the same manner again.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe details of the conversation I do remember, I was having issues with how he was coaching me throughout spring, throughout camp that I had kept to myself and I expressed a couple of those issues with the special teams coordinator, who related them to Urban, who seemingly halfway understood,\u201d Lambo said. \u201cHis response was, \u2018OK, you don\u2019t like me doing this, OK. If you don\u2019t like me doing that, fine. But if you ever speak to me like that again, you\u2019ll be out of here. You\u2019re the first player I\u2019ve ever let speak to me that way in my career, and if you do it again, you\u2019re gone.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lambo said that Meyer told him that if he had a problem with how the coach treated him at a practice, to \u201ckeep that to yourself and you wait until after practice and after meetings and you come find me in the office and tell me privately.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lambo told the Times he reported the incident to his agent, who got in touch with the Jaguars legal counsel the day following the incident.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJaguars legal counsel indeed acknowledged and responded immediately to the query made by Josh Lambo\u2019s agent Friday, August 27, 2021,\u201d the Jaguars said in a statement to the&nbsp;Times. \u201cCounsel offered to speak with Josh, or to assist Josh in speaking with coaching or any other football personnel, if he was comfortable with her sharing the information. Any suggestion otherwise is blatantly false.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lambo was released by the Jaguars on October 19, missing three field goals and two PAT\u2019s in three games.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Meyer agreed to return to coaching this offseason \u2014 his first stint in the NFL \u2014 after trying his hand at broadcasting. Many questioned the hire at the time, considering Meyer had only coached in the college ranks in his long career.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He found himself in hot water earlier in the season when a video surfaced of Meyer at a bar with a young woman grinding against him.
