According to a recent investigation into these groups published by Fox News, all three of these groups are heavy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/sports\/nfl-inspire-change-funding-defund-police-groups\" target=\" _blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supporters<\/a> of the defund the police movement.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The NFL gave $300,000 to the Oregon Justice Resource Center alone. (Photo by Eze Amos\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Community Justice Exchange, for instance, has openly supported and helped further efforts to end police departments entirely. The groups have also pushed an end to prisons and enforcement of U.S. immigration laws.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe Community Justice Exchange is working towards a world without prisons, policing, prosecution, surveillance, or any form of detention or supervision,\u201d the group <a href=\"https:\/\/directactionzine.communityjusticeexchange.org\/\" target=\" _blank\" rel=\"noopener\">says<\/a> on its webpage.<\/p>\n<p>The Community Justice Exchange also helps fund the National Bail Fund Network, which supplies cash to people who have been arrested for helping them get out of prison on bail.<\/p>\n<p>The other two groups have also openly supported the end of police departments. The Oregon Justice Resource Center, for instance, calls police a \u201cmalignant tumor\u201d and \u201cwhite supremacists,\u201d Fox News added.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Vera Institute of Justice has also made statements about tearing down police departments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVera is committed to dismantling the current culture of policing and working toward solutions that defund police and shift power to communities,\u201d the group\u2019s president, Nicholas Turner, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vera.org\/blog\/protecting-black-lives-the-crisis-of-american-policing\" target=\" _blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> in June 2020, Fox said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The NFL recently praised Vera as an organization promoting \u201cracial equity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVera\u2019s In Our Backyards initiative and its work to end the catastrophic rise of incarceration in small cities and rural counties, advance racial equity, and reinvest in supports and resources that build truly healthy and vibrant communities through policy advocacy, narrative-changing campaigns, and research in partnership with community members and system stakeholders,\u201d the NFL recently said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/police-officers-salute-during-the-national-anthem-prior-to-the-game-picture-id1339889711\" alt=\"Minnesota Vikings v Cincinnati Bengals\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>CINCINNATI, OHIO \u2013 SEPTEMBER 12: Police officers salute during the national anthem prior to the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium on September 12, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
