The order is in effect December 15, 2021 to January 15, 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom\u2019s administration announced the new measure on Monday. At the time, The San Francisco Chronicle reported that as of Friday, there had been 18 Omicron variant cases reported in California.
