The agency\u2019s investigation is based on a complaint filed by&nbsp;whistleblower&nbsp;Ashley Gj\u00f8vik, who says she filed the complaint&nbsp;\u201cto ensure Apple knows they cannot get away with retaliating against me for exercising my federally and state-protected rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Business Insider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/osha-investigating-apple-over-employees-nyt-ft-reports-2021-12?r=US&amp;IR=T\">reports<\/a>&nbsp;that OSHA is investigating Apple. The probe was first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/973aae8d-21d9-4e84-8912-ead071c7935d\">reported<\/a> by the&nbsp;<em>Financial Times<\/em>&nbsp;after it viewed a letter sent to company whistleblower&nbsp;Ashley Gj\u00f8vik by the Department of Labor.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>OSHA told the&nbsp;<em>New York Times<\/em> that the investigation will be conducted by OSHA\u2019s whistleblower protection program.
