My op-ed: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YIJVrzGaWw\">https:\/\/t.co\/YIJVrzGaWw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Elizabeth Warren (@SenWarren) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SenWarren\/status\/1471149375082704896?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 15, 2021<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t come to this conclusion lightly or because I disagree with a particular decision,\u201d Warren <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2021\/12\/15\/opinion\/expand-supreme-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a> in the piece titled \u201cExpand the Supreme Court.\u201d \u201cI come to this conclusion because I believe the current court threatens the democratic foundations of our nation,\u201d Warren wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Warren argued that \u201cRepublican court-packing\u201d diminished the validity of Supreme Court decisions, citing cases such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2012\/09\/20\/pelosi-democrats-will-amend-constitution-to-overturn-citizens-united-if-they-control-house-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Citizens United v. FEC<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/02\/supreme-court-hears-case-voting-laws-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brnovich v. Democratic National Committee<\/a>&nbsp;to justify her stance. Warren wrote that the 6-3 Republican majority will \u201cthreaten basic liberties for decades to come.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/14\/please-dont-call-manger-elon-musk-tweet-karen-democrat-elizabeth-warren-tax-increase-savage-comeback\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: \u2018Please Don\u2019t Call The Manager\u2019: Elon Musk Unleashes On Elizabeth Warren For Calling Him A \u2018Freeloader\u2019)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Warren also accused Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and former President Donald Trump of taking advantage of \u201ctwo stolen seats to pack the court,\u201d referring to the appointments of Justices <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2018\/10\/06\/brett-kavanaugh-confirmed-supreme-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brett Kavanaugh<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2017\/09\/06\/nominees-religious-faith-dominates-senate-judicial-confirmation-hearing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amy Coney Barrett<\/a>.
