Now, I don\u2019t want anyone to have one who doesn\u2019t want it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Goldberg then switched gears, suggesting that those who are pro-life should just ignore the millions of babies who are killed in abortion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no mandate saying you must have an abortion,\u201d she echoed a flimsy and popular pro-abortion talking point. \u201cThe mandate, though, says, \u2018well, you can\u2019t have one if you need it and it\u2019s not even that I\u2019m going to allow you to speak to your doctor. If your life is on the line, I don\u2019t care. If you\u2019re someone who has had to deal with incest, I don\u2019t care. If you\u2019ve been raped, it doesn\u2019t matter.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd this is why we need to have a debate where we can actually talk about when abortion is used, and how,\u201d chimed in CNN contributor Amanda Carpenter. \u201cAnd maybe what limits we could have on it rather than deputizing people to hunt down doctors and women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As noted by The Daily Wire\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-6-biggest-lies-youve-been-told-about-the-texas-abortion-law\">Ben Johnson<\/a>, more Americans support Texas\u2019 pro-life legislation than oppose it, contrary to the outraged women at \u201cThe View\u201d:<\/p>\n<p>In reality, more Americans support the Texas heartbeat law than oppose it. A plurality, 46% of likely voters, support the law while 43% oppose it, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/current_events\/abortion\/fight_over_texas_abortion_law_divides_voters\">Rasmussen poll<\/a> released [in&nbsp;September]. Similarly, 56% of likely voters \u2014 including one-third of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.democratsforlife.org\/\">Democrats<\/a> \u2014 favored Missouri\u2019s heartbeat bill in a July <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slu.edu\/research\/research-institute\/big-ideas\/slu-poll\/july-2021-poll\/slu-poll-july2021-crosstabresults.pdf\">poll<\/a> from Saint Louis University and YouGov. That poll found that women were more likely to support the heartbeat bill than men.<\/p>\n<p>Goldberg earlier this month lashed out over Supreme Court oral arguments in notable abortion case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/how-dare-you-talk-about-what-a-fetus-wants-whoopi-goldberg-unloads-on-supreme-court-over-abortion-case\">The Daily Wire<\/a>&nbsp;reported:<\/p>\n<p><em>Goldberg criticized several of the arguments made but the justices, but reserved the bulk of her ire for Justice <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/justice-alito-questions-viability-standard-in-monumental-supreme-court-abortion-case\/\">Samuel Alito<\/a>. Alito argued that a fetus presumably had the same interest both prior to and after the point of viability \u2014 namely, to stay alive.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDo any of you men have any eggs or the possibility of carrying a fetus? How dare you talk about what a fetus wants!
