She alleges&nbsp;her bosses initially didn\u2019t think she could speak fluent English and consistently demeaned her.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAt ViacomCBS, however, Senior was stereotyped as a \u2018dumb Latina,\u2019 prohibited from writing emails to her boss; consigned to doing clerical work and housekeeping, notwithstanding her having a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University,\u201d the lawsuit reportedly states.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Senior alleges that on her first day, a vice president she reported to dictated emails for her to send to other executives. After a month, the lawsuit claims, she was not allowed to email one the company\u2019s senior vice presidents over what was described as \u201cminor grammatical mistakes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit alleges other&nbsp;team members who sent e-mails with spelling and grammatical errors were not punished in the same way.<\/p>\n<p>Senior, who identifies as \u201cLatinx,\u201d claims other \u201cLatinx\u201d employees at ViacomCBS, were denied \u201cwell-deserved promotions, passed over for professional opportunities, and made to do unskilled housework and menial work beneath their respective job titles.\u201d<br \/>ViacomCBS has staked out several far left-wing political positions in recent years.
