Steve Sisolak in the polls less than a year from the election.<\/p>\n<p>A poll from a Republican polling firm,&nbsp;OnMessage Inc., revealed that two Republican candidates,&nbsp;Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo and&nbsp;Dean Heller&nbsp;\u2014 a former senator and one-time Nevada Secretary of State \u2014 show a sizable lead against&nbsp;Sisolak when facing him one-on-one.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Lombardo displayed a ten-point lead over&nbsp;Sisolak, showing 51 percent to 41 percent in the polls when the respondents were asked which candidate they would vote for in the 2022 gubernatorial election if the election was held today.<\/p>\n<p>Heller displayed a six-point lead over&nbsp;Sisolak, showing 49 percent to 43 percent in the polls when the&nbsp;respondents were asked the same question.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;OnMessage poll released Monday was conducted between November 16 and 18. The survey questioned 600&nbsp;likely voters in the state and had a margin of error of +\/- four percentage points.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"8.4905660377358\">\n<p lang=\"da\" dir=\"ltr\">NEW: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OnMessageInc?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@OnMessageInc<\/a> (R)<\/p>\n<p>2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NVGov?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#NVGov<\/a> GE<br \/>(R) Joe Lombardo 51% (+10)<br \/>(D)* Steve Sisolak 41%<\/p>\n<p>(R) Dean Heller 49% (+6)<br \/>(D)* Steve Sisolak 43%<\/p>\n<p>600 LV <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/3yNuoOJbL4\">pic.twitter.com\/3yNuoOJbL4<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 PPUSA (@PollProjectUSA) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PollProjectUSA\/status\/1470508960595677184?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 13, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, since October, Sisolak\u2019s poll numbers are down as the&nbsp;<em>Nevada Independent<\/em>&nbsp;poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/04\/nevada-democrats-trouble-heading-2022\/\">showed<\/a> him leading <span class=\"tooltip-target\">Heller, but&nbsp;<\/span>within the four-point margin of error and in a&nbsp;virtual tie with&nbsp;Lombardo.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;poll showed&nbsp;Sisolak and Heller at&nbsp;<span class=\"tooltip-target\">45.8 percent to 43.3 percent, respectively, in addition to&nbsp;Sisolak and&nbsp;Lombardo at&nbsp;44.9 percent to 44.4 percent,&nbsp;respectively.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>At the time, the&nbsp;<em>Independent<\/em> noted that the results from this poll should be a sign for the Democrats in Nevada, making Nevada an actual swing state since 2016, when the Democrats won the majority of the \u201ctop-line races in the state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNevada is and will be a competitive battleground state. It was in 2018, it was in 2020, and it will be in 2022,\u201d John Anzalone, the governor\u2019s pollster, <a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/weekly-score\/2021\/10\/04\/why-nevada-matters-in-2022-798004\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">told<\/a> <em>Politico<\/em>.&nbsp;\u201cIt will be a very competitive race that we are not taking for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><i>Jacob Bliss is a reporter for Breitbart News.
