Elizabeth Warren<\/a> and Minnesota <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/07\/18\/amy-klobuchar-breyer-concerned-about-court-should-retire-sooner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sen. Amy Klobuchar<\/a> have their names in the hat after making a push for president in 2020, Cillizza said. He contends Warren \u201cwouldn\u2019t be splitting the vote with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders this time around like she did in 2020\u201d and the Minnesotan was \u201cprobably the best regarded of the losing candidates in 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Three governors who have recently risen to fame in the Democratic party were listed: Michigan <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/26\/gretchen-whitmer-donations-campaign-reelection-amount-allowed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gov. Gretchen Whitmer<\/a>, who faces reelection next year to retain her position, New Jersey <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/03\/new-jersey-governors-race-close-results-phil-murphy-jack-ciattarelli\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gov. Phil Murphy<\/a>, who Cillizza said may be a \u201ctesting ground for some national policies for the party,\u201d and Illinois <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/08\/chicago-mayor-lightfoot-governor-j-b-pritzker-boos-white-sox-game\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gov. J.B. Pritzker<\/a>, who self-financed his first gubernatorial bid in 2018 and set the U.S. record for fundraising during that race, NBC Chicago <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcchicago.com\/news\/local\/self-funding-totals-in-the-race-for-illinois-governor\/50193\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The last significant name Cillizza put down is Georgia gubernatorial candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/17\/stacey-abrams-supports-manchins-voting-rights-compromise-id-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stacey Abrams<\/a>, who lost in 2018 against then- Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp and is currently running a second time. The CNN editor said she \u201cneeds to win the Georgia governor\u2019s mansion in 2022 before thinking too much about 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other names included former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, former Rhode Island Gov. and current Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and North Carolina Gov.
