It\u2019s only going to get worse from here. Everything. As Joel Pollack of Breitbart News noted, the evidence is inconclusive on if climate change intensifies storms.<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"20.673563218391\">\n<p>As former Obama administration official Steven Koonin wrote in his recent book on climate change,&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Unsettled-Climate-Science-Doesnt-Matters\/dp\/1950665798\/?tag=breitbart035-20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\"><em>Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells Us, What It Doesn\u2019t, and Why It Matters<\/em><\/a>, \u201churricanes and tornados show no changes attributable to human influences\u201d (112), and that \u201cthe best we can say is that, if anything, U.S. tornadoes have become more benign as the globe has warmed over the past seventy-five years, and we have no credible method for projecting future changes\u201d (126).<\/p>\n<p>Even an Associated Press \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/explainer-was-tornado-outbreak-related-to-climate-change\/\">explainer<\/a>\u201d struggles to accept the idea that climate change is linked to the Kentucky tornadoes: \u201cAttributing a specific storm like Friday\u2019s to the effects of climate change remains very challenging,\u201d it concluded. However, the AP also strained to cite scientists who said that a warmer climate could produce more thunderstorms in the wintertime.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Mark Ruffalo has been an outspoken proponent of climate change for several years, even going so far as to criticize former President Barack Obama <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2015\/11\/25\/mark-ruffalo-obama-almost-worse-climate-change-deniers\/\">for his inaction<\/a> on the issue. Last year, the actor even declared that former President Trump should be public enemy number one based on his response to so-called climate change.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the world should consider my president as public enemy no. 1 at this point,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2020\/02\/26\/mark-ruffalo-says-world-should-designate-trump-as-public-enemy-no-1\/\">the actor told<\/a> Sky News. \u201cWhat we do probably in the next ten years will probably be crucial to the future of the planet. This will only become more and more evident to us.
