Recently, she revealed that the severity of her infection made her believe she \u201cwould have died\u201d if she hadn\u2019t been vaccinated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The 19-year-old singer discussed her experience with the virus during an interview on \u201cThe Howard Stern Show\u201d Monday. During the conversation, the \u201cHappier Than Ever\u201d composer explained how she contracted COVID-19 in August, and that she suffered from extreme symptoms despite having been vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018F*** that sh** dude,\u201d Eilish said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/podcasts\/billie-eilish-says-she-still-has-side-effects-after-a-two-month-battle-with-covid-if-i-wasnt-vaccinated-i-would-have-died\/\">Mediaite,<\/a>&nbsp;\u201cIt was bad. I didn\u2019t die, and I wasn\u2019t going to die, but that does not take away from how miserable it was. It was terrible. I still have side effects, I was sick for like two months almost.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued:&nbsp;\u201cI want it to be clear it is because of the vaccine I\u2019m fine. I think if I weren\u2019t vaccinated I would have, like, died. Because it was bad. When I say it was bad, I more just mean it felt horrible. But really in the scheme of COVID it wasn\u2019t bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eilish is convinced the vaccine is fully responsible for her recovery. \u201cWhen you\u2019re sick you feel f***ing horrible,\u201d Eilish said. \u201cThe vaccine is f***ing amazing, it also saved [her brother] from getting [the virus], my parents from getting it, my friends from getting it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The singer is the latest celebrity to praise the COVID-19 vaccine. On a recent episode of \u201cThe Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,\u201d Fallon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jimmy-fallon-releases-cringe-y-it-was-a-masked-christmas-pandemic-themed-song-with-megan-thee-stallion-and-ariana-grande\">released a song<\/a> in collaboration with Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion that encouraged everyone to get their COVID-19 vaccine booster shots for the holidays.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden shared a link to the music video from his official POTUS account, plus called into the show to discuss vaccines even more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cPeople are worried and they\u2019re worried about whether or not, you know, they have a brother or sister, uncle or aunt who has gotten COVID and they don\u2019t know what to do about it,\u201d Biden told Fallon, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-to-jimmy-fallon-getting-covid-19-vaccine-booster-is-patriotic\">according to<\/a> The Daily Wire. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of anxiety and my job is to be straightforward, shoot from the shoulder, let people know exactly what the truth is, and lay out how I\u2019m going to try to make life better for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fallon talked about vaccine reluctance, then suggested that the younger set would help solve the problem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe COVID problem, I don\u2019t know what else to do and how else to tell people to get the vaccine,\u201d Fallon replied.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this point, just, I think people are going to do what they will, I guess, I don\u2019t know what to say, but is it the youth that we have to \u2014 hope the kids get us out of this? So, if you wanna be sure you\u2019re gonna be okay \u2014 and the other good news, Jimmy, is that we now have 5, 6, and 7-year-olds are able to be vaccinated, as well as teenagers. And so we\u2019re moving.
