Campbell, Kentucky for a briefing on the response operations, and then to hard-hit Mayfield and Dawson Springs to survey the damage,\u201d according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/tornadoes-joe-biden-kentucky-natural-disasters-fe05eb21feca8ecfbdb1d9961a510b2d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Associated Press<\/a> on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The president had previously been asked whether he planned to visit Kentucky during remarks on Saturday concerning the storm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll be happy to come, but I don\u2019t want to be in the way,\u201d Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2021\/12\/11\/remarks-by-president-biden-on-the-severe-weather-that-impacted-several-u-s-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> he told Kentucky Democratic Gov.
