And here\u2019s what it is. It\u2019s notes on inertia. It means that an object that\u2019s in motion will stay in motion. So we\u2019re going to keep putting one foot in front of the other and push through this,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The governor also encouraged residents to get the help they need, promising \u201cwe\u2019re going to be with you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody get the help you need, take care of yourself, and we\u2019ll continue to provide updates. To the people of Western Kentucky, we\u2019re not going anywhere. We\u2019re going to be with you today, we\u2019re going to be with you tomorrow, and we\u2019re going to be there with you to rebuild,\u201d Beshear said.<\/p>\n<p>Beshear focused on the unity of Kentucky\u2019s people, encouraging them that others are \u201cstanding with you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is one state. People that love one another. I think everyone in Kentucky, but also everybody in the country, is standing with you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Beshear said there were \u201c64 confirmed deaths across the state as of Monday morning, following the string of deadly tornadoes that hit Kentucky and several other states over the weekend,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/nation\/2021\/12\/13\/tornado-deaths-damage-live-updates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Washington Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At least 105 people remained unaccounted for as of Monday morning, the report also noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSix are younger than 18,\u201d he said during the media update.
