Everything,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd obviously it has some impact here.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>At least 30 tornadoes were reported across six different states causing widespread devastation, and over 100 people are expected killed from the storm.<\/p>\n<p>The president said he did not know the full extent of global warming\u2019s contribution to the deadly storms, which he described as one of the \u201clargest tornado outbreaks in history.\u201d He said he would get the Environmental Protection Agency to investigate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll that I know is that the intensity of the weather across the board has some impact as a consequence of the warming of the planet,\u201d Biden said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The president praised the reporter who asked him about climate change.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs usual, you ask always the best question,\u201d he said with a wry chuckle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow are we going to handle this?\u201d he continued. \u201cPart of it is acknowledging that the likelihood of fewer weather catastrophes, absent of continued movement on dealing with global warming, it\u2019s just not going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden said he was shocked by the record wildfires in the country during 2021, expressing alarm that global warming was a major contribution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we have to act,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden said the first step was to save lives and care for the families who were affected by the storms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI promise you. Whatever is needed. Whatever is needed, the federal government is going to supply it.\u201d Biden said.<\/p>\n<p>He said he would continue to monitor the storm recovery closely and do whatever was needed by the federal government.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want folks in all these states to know. We\u2019re going to get through this.
