Joe Manchin (D-WV).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrice increases continue to squeeze family budgets,\u201d President Joe Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2021\/12\/10\/statement-by-president-joe-biden-on-todays-consumer-price-index-data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> on December 10. \u201cThe challenge of prices underscores the importance that Congress move without delay to pass my Build Back Better plan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we want to fight inflation and lower costs, the best thing we can do is to pass Build Back Better,\u201d Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/2021\/12\/10\/republicans-blame-biden-inflation-whats-their-plan\/\">said<\/a> in another December 10 statement.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>But the FWD.us report is directly targeting Americans\u2019 wages as it pushes Democrats to deliver what its investors want \u2014 more cheap labor, more revenues, more profits, and higher stock values.<\/p>\n<p>The FWD.us report continues:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11.287912087912\">\n<p>Families in our country are&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/business-economy-prices-inflation-d98e33f5f024e5109486b70662196ed7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gravely concerned<\/a>&nbsp;by inflation, and persistent worker shortages present a clear inflationary pressure [via rising wages]. Not only can immigration provisions in BBB shore up existing workforces in industries experiencing labor disruptions, the act\u2019s provisions would also allow, in the long term,<strong> millions<\/strong>&nbsp;[emphasis added] of potential new workers&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fwd.us\/news\/visa-recapture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">backlogged<\/a>&nbsp;in the lawful immigration system to come to the U.S. to work.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The report acknowledged the rising wages spurred by President Donald Trump\u2019s 2020 reduction in immigration: \u201c[The extra migration] could help offset the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cato.org\/blog\/where-did-24-million-48-million-missing-immigrants-go?utm_source=social&amp;utm_medium=twitter&amp;utm_campaign=Cato%20Social%20Share\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">decrease in lawful immigration<\/a> experienced during the Trump Administration, a likely&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/2021\/11\/22\/legal-immigrant-workers-paperwork-renewal-backlog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contributing factor<\/a>&nbsp;to our current labor force shortages.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Numerous groups \u2014 including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/17\/jpmorgan-wages-productivity-jumped-amid-trumps-low-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JP Morgan<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2019\/12\/16\/nyt-columnist-american-snakes-and-vermin-support-donald-trumps-immigration-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Goldman<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gspublishing.com\/content\/research\/en\/reports\/2021\/10\/04\/be005ed1-1b6b-42f7-af9b-fb209077ca35.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sachs<\/a> \u2014 have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/19\/cato-trump-excluded-1-2-million-foreign-workers-from-u-s-jobs\/\">credited<\/a> Trump\u2019s reduced labor supply for boosting Americans\u2019 wages.<\/p>\n<p>The FWD.us report comes as more Democrat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/04\/democrats-lets-curb-inflation-using-migrants-cut-american-wages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">politicians<\/a> and pro-migration activists <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/01\/d-c-lobbies-cut-inflation-by-cutting-americans-wages\/\">tout<\/a> more migration as a wage-cutting fix for inflation.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">\u201cOur economy stands to benefit tremendously from allowing more folks to work legally, especially as we face a labor shortage that continues to contribute towards inflation,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PabloReports\/status\/1467603250228649993?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1467603250228649993%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost-new.php\">said<\/a> a December 5 statement from Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) to a pro-migration website, LatinoRebels.com. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latinorebels.com\/2021\/12\/03\/paroleinflation\/\">told<\/a>&nbsp;<\/span>LatinoRebels.com on December 2.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">The Democrats\u2019 top advocate for amnesty and migration, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ellengilmer\/status\/1466487416987045889?s=20\">backed<\/a> the argument,&nbsp;according to a Bloomberg reporter: \u201cAsked if immigration parole proposal in [the pending Build Back Better bill] would decrease inflation, Durbin says \u2018Oh most certainly \u2026 If there are more workers filling those jobs, it\u2019s deflationary.&#8217;\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>However, the FWD.us report and Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/19\/cbo-joe-bidens-bill-will-invite-millions-of-new-migrants\/\">ignore<\/a> the inflationary impact of new immigrants on rents and housing prices. Those prices are already rising in 2021 as the nation\u2019s cheap-labor\/low-tech housing industry builds few new homes \u2014 and as 2 million new migrants, legal and illegal, compete for housing against the roughly 4 million young Americans who entered the workforce in 2021.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19096034\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" readability=\"38\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/AP21344643929061.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19096034\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/AP21344643929061.jpg\" alt=\"Sen. (AP Photo\/Susan Walsh)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The FWD.us report also hides prior claims by pro-amnesty groups that an amnesty will raise wages for the illegal migrants already working in the United States. \u201cSuch [legalization] reforms would increase earnings and productivity for undocumented workers, eventually leading to increased tax contributions and local spending,\u201d the&nbsp;Center for American Progress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanprogress.org\/article\/protecting-undocumented-workers-pandemics-front-lines-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claimed<\/a> in 2020.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The FWD.us report even links to a report <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfodive.com\/news\/labor-shortages-may-prolong-inflation\/607401\/\">saying<\/a> inflation is rising because employers are bidding up wages during a labor shortage:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11\">\n<p>\u201cThe growth in the working-age population is not going to slow, it\u2019s actually going to decline,\u201d [Charles] Goodhart said Tuesday at a conference sponsored by&nbsp;the European Central Bank. \u201cPeople will bid up wages in order to deal with the shortages of workers they will be increasingly facing \u2014 that\u2019s not transitory, it\u2019s here for the long-term.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The thrust of the FWD.us report is that the BBB\u2019s migration changes would reduce claimed \u201clabor shortages\u201d by delivering \u201cmillions of potential new workers\u201d to the U.S. economy.<\/p>\n<p>This argument refers to at least four categories of foreign workers who would be allowed to buy green cards, regardless of their impact on American families.<\/p>\n<p>The first category of foreign workers is the roughly 1 million contract workers who have been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/05\/white-house-media-hide-largest-update-to-our-immigration-system-in-30-years\/\">imported<\/a> by companies to replace American university graduates. This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/green-card-workforce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">foreign workforce<\/a> includes many gig workers in the technology sector, but also many foreign graduates in a growing variety of \u201chealthcare, university, design, and manufacturing careers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pending BBB bill also would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/14\/amnesty-bill-grows-pipeline-foreign-workers-u-s-professional-careers\/\">sell<\/a>&nbsp;fast-track green cards to an uncapped population of future foreign workers \u2014 perhaps millions \u2014 who sign contracts that will take jobs from American graduates during the next decade. These workers are likely to settle in the coastal states, thus reducing investors\u2019 incentives to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> create<\/a> jobs&nbsp;in the interior states, such as Manchin\u2019s West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>The third category of workers is the waiting population of \u201cchain migrants\u201d seeking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/19\/cbo-joe-bidens-bill-will-invite-millions-of-new-migrants\/\">join<\/a>&nbsp;recent legal immigrant family members.&nbsp;This population now includes 4 million people who are waiting in a multi-year line for some of the roughly 230,000 green cards that are distributed each year to relatives of&nbsp; immigrants. The BBB bill would allow the four million chain migrants in the line to buy green cards if they can fly into the United States, for example, on a tourist visa to visit Disney World. Most would settle in coastal states, further <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/09\/17\/amnesty-bill-to-spike-americans-housing-costs\/\">boosting<\/a> housing costs for the sons and daughters of Americans.<\/p>\n<p>The fast-track process would likely encourage more people to apply for chain migration status, delivering yet more workers and house buyers in the next several years. Other countries have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/24\/nytimes-cites-one-dishwasher-jobs-in-australia-to-demand-more-u-s-cheap-labor\/\">seen<\/a> real estate bubbles amid mass <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/21\/new-zealand-chops-migration-to-deflate-housing-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">immigration<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The pending chain migrants are selected by new immigrants, not by Americans, U.S. employers, or government-drafted standards for productivity. This migrants-select-migrants policy ensures that many arrivals have few skills and can only garner low-wage jobs. Their arrival would further flood the low-skilled labor market, thus trimming inflation by suppressing wages for millions of Americans and other recent immigrants.<\/p>\n<p>But all migrants, even if unskilled, sick, or old, are a boon to business groups because they spike consumer demand for groceries, retail goods, and housing. So any inflow of millions of migrants would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/10\/15\/business\/economy\/rent-inflation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">increase<\/a> housing costs, as well as stock market values for people who own real estate or shares in groceries, retail stores, or the healthcare and auto industries.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a win-win for most investors, whose stock values would rise amid the further stagnation of Americans\u2019 careers, salaries, wages, and housing.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of investors, the breadth of investors who&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20181024004654\/https:\/\/www.fwd.us\/founders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">founded and funded<\/a>&nbsp;FWD.us was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fwd.us\/founders\/\">hidden<\/a> from casual visitors&nbsp;to the group\u2019s website sometime in the last few months.
