As of Friday morning, the site had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotfund.com\/story\/95398067-f2f9-49b8-b93b-1c9a18042b44\">raised<\/a> $3,880.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not the same for them when they go through this its harder for them than it is for me so they don\u2019t get gifts as much as I get, and I don\u2019t get that much, but I guess I want it to be equal in some ways,\u201d Lily commented.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>She watched her family struggle in the past, and the young woman knew there were children who woke up Christmas morning that did not find presents, some of whom are in foster care.<\/p>\n<p>Caitlin Stay, who is the regional director of philanthropy for CHS, voiced gratitude for Lily\u2019s efforts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe rely so much on the community for this drive that make this a success, so individuals like Lily, corporations, community partners that\u2019s who really is making a difference,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n<p>In a social media post Tuesday, the Children\u2019s Home Society of North Carolina <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CHSNorthCarolina\/posts\/10165961155970711\">shared<\/a> a photo of gifts from donors across the state who sponsored wish lists for young people in foster care:<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CHSNorthCarolina\/posts\/10165961155970711\" data-width=\"640\" readability=\"24.336842105263\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/graph.facebook.com\/242055130710\/posts\/10165961155970711\/\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\" readability=\"7.8736842105263\">\n<p>WOW!
