Wade, <\/em>which made&nbsp;abortion on demand the law of the land, are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/10\/supreme-court-allows-texas-abortion-law-to-remain-in-effect-while-lawsuit-continues-against-it\/\">praising<\/a> the U.S. Supreme Court\u2019s decision in Whole Women\u2019s Health v. Jackson to let the Texas law stand as litigation continues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision by the U.S. Supreme Court this morning to allow the Texas abortion law to remain in effect is very encouraging,\u201d Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood director,&nbsp;CEO and Founder of <em>And Then There Were None,<\/em> said in a statement. \u201cIt has given the opportunity for life to thousands more unborn babies.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very hopeful the Justices are poised to rule favorably in <em>Dobbs<\/em>, delivering the decision of abortion back to the states, where more than half will immediately ban the procedure,\u201d Johnson said referring to <em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em>, which deals with Mississippi\u2019s 15-week ban on abortion. \u201cI look forward to that day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Judicial Crisis Network President Carrie Severino posted her reaction to the SCOTUS decision on Twitter:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"12.328267477204\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">With today&#8217;s controlling opinion in Whole Women&#8217;s Health, it was refreshing to see the Court rightly address procedural questions about SB8 and its jurisdiction as such.<\/p>\n<p>Could the days of the Court&#8217;s &#8220;abortion distortion&#8221; jurisprudence finally be behind us? We celebrate today\u2019s victory with our friends in Texas, and eagerly await the day when every child across America has a chance to celebrate a birthday.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBy dismissing the Biden-Harris administration\u2019s attack on preborn children \u2013 and the attacks of many others \u2013 the Court has sent a clear signal that life is winning,\u201d the Alliance press release on the decision said.<\/p>\n<p>Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony, said in a statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"15\">\n<p>We celebrate that the Texas Heartbeat Act will remain in effect, saving the lives of unborn children and protecting mothers while litigation continues in lower courts. Meanwhile, we anxiously await the Court\u2019s decision in the&nbsp;<em>Dobbs<\/em>&nbsp;case&nbsp;in which the Court is directly considering the constitutionality of laws that protect unborn children and mothers prior to viability.<\/p>\n<p><em>Dobbs<\/em>&nbsp;presents the biggest opportunity in generations to modernize our laws. We have great hope that the Court will return the issue back to the people to decide through their elected representatives, letting democracy and consensus prevail.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life Education and Defense Fund said in a statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"13\">\n<p>Today the Court ruled on a procedural issue without addressing the merits of the case challenging the Texas Heartbeat Act. Many lives have already been and will continue to be saved by this law, which protects unborn children with detectable beating hearts.<\/p>\n<p>The Texas law came about because for decades&nbsp;<i>Roe&nbsp;<\/i>has blocked states from being able to regulate abortion, a right the Constitution gives to the people through their elected representatives. We hope in the upcoming&nbsp;<i>Dobbs&nbsp;<\/i>case the Court returns this right to the people.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The case is <em>Whole Woman\u2019s Health v.
