(Photo by Elijah Nouvelage\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 4:11 PM PT \u2013 Friday, December 10, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Georgia gubernatorial candidate David Perdue joined a lawsuit to further examine claims of alleged fraud in Georgia\u2019s 2020 elections.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released on Friday, Perdue claimed there were serious violations in the counting of absentee ballots in Fulton County, which is the state\u2019s most populous jurisdiction. The Republican also said he wanted a judge to consider the alleged evidence after officials conduct a forensic audit.<\/p>\n<p>The move comes after Perdue launched his campaign for governor and slammed current Gov. Brian Kemp (R) for certifying last year\u2019s election results.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s simple. He has failed all of us and cannot win in November. Instead of protecting our elections, he caved to Abrams and cost us two Senate seats\u2026the Senate majority and gave Joe Biden free reign. Think about how different it would be today if Kemp had fought Abrams first instead of fighting Trump.
