Republicans have never <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/12\/10\/public-view-on-bidens-handling-of-covid-and-the-economy-takes-another-hit-cnbc-survey-shows.html\">polled<\/a> so strongly in CNBC\u2019s 20-year history of asking which party Americans favor to run Congress.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"CNBC All-America Economic Survey: Biden Is \u201cUnderwater,\u201d Republicans Have \u201cHistoric\u201d Advantage\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V4oMMuUJuso?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>The largest lead Republicans have ever held on a CNBC generic ballot survey until Friday is four points, according to CNBC. On Friday, 44 percent of respondents favored Republicans, while 34 percent selected Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>The last time Republicans led Democrats in&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/poll.qu.edu\/images\/polling\/us\/us10052021_regvoter_uype37.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">polling<\/a>&nbsp;to&nbsp;win control of the House was in 2014.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The poll also revealed urban ring counties, which are areas outside large cities, have turned red. Republicans now lead Democrats by five points in urban areas. Nineteen House Democrats have&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/midterm-election\/2021\/12\/01\/19-democrats-leave-house-2022-three-committee-chairs\/\">announced<\/a>&nbsp;they will not run for reelection in 2022. The massive exodus is far more than the five seats Republicans need to regain to take back the House, leaving House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) with important committee vacancy positions to fill.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans will also have a slight advantage in state redistricting measures across the nation.
