Gardner said:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"10\">\n<p>We anticipate that we will not initially have enough employees to operate all the trains we are currently operating when the federal mandate takes effect. Achieving full service levels, while complying with the vaccination requirement and continuing to prioritize the safety of our customers and employees, is our goal.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Gardner told the committee 94 percent of his employees are vaccinated. That number does not include those on leave of absence or approved accommodation.<\/p>\n<p class>\u201cWe hope that all employees who have already received one vaccination dose, which all employees are required to receive as of today, will be fully vaccinated by January 4,\u201d Gardner added.<\/p>\n<p class>Gardner told the committee Amtrak agreed to participate in Biden\u2019s mandate in August but were already under stress keeping services in operation due to employees who left the company amid large pandemic unemployment benefits.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p class>Amtrak is just one of many companies struggling to maintain employees after Biden issued the $1.8 trillion coronavirus relief package in March, which included borrowed money to fund unemployment programs.<\/p>\n<p class>Between Biden\u2019s vaccine mandate on the nation\u2019s workforce and workers preferring to accept Biden\u2019s dole instead of participating in the economy, the result has been a supply chain crisis.<\/p>\n<p class>The supply chain crisis has impacted American families with increased prices for goods that have become more difficult to obtain.<\/p>\n<p class>Polling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/08\/poll-46-precent-believe-joe-bidens-presidency-has-hurt-america\/\">shows<\/a> many of the top concerns among Americans are inflation and the supply chain crisis, though nearly half believe Biden\u2019s policies to fix the crisis have further damaged the United States.<\/p>\n<p><em>Follow Wendell Huseb\u00f8 on Twitter&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WendellHusebo?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor\"><em>@WendellHuseb\u00f8<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amtrak on Thursday revealed plans to reduce services in 2022 over its employees\u2019 defiance of President Biden\u2019s vaccine mandate.
