As the reporters explained they were there to ask a question, Rollins demanded they leave and told them to ask her questions when she is at work.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cGet away from my family. Speak to me at my job. If I get hurt or harmed because of this \u2014 you are on the record for that \u2014 or my kids are (expletive) killed,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Rollins told the reporters they were on private property before threatening to alert police and file a report. \u201cWho do you think you are? This is private property. Get out of here. You know what I\u2019ll do? I\u2019ll call the police on you and make an allegation, and we\u2019ll see how that works with you,\u201d said Rollins.<\/p>\n<p>Rollins then threatened to discover the name of the Boston reporter who approached her to ask questions. \u201cSo the rantings of a white woman get you here and scare my children. Get off of our private property here. And I swear to God, I\u2019m dead serious. I will find your name,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can ask me somewhere else. Do not have a camera in front of my house.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As the interaction ended, Rollins threatened to have the reporters arrested by the Boston police. \u201cGet them out of here. This is the Boston police. I will have you arrested. I swear to God. My children are going to be hurt,\u201d she yelled.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The reporters, with Boston 25 Investigates, sought to question Rollins about an incident in which she allegedly&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boston25news.com\/news\/local\/boston-25-investigates-allegation-involving-suffolk-county-da-rachael-rollins\/ZD2BA2HXERH3RE6DFSZSWCCJM4\/\">threatened<\/a>&nbsp;to write a woman a ticket in a mall parking lot.<\/p>\n<p>Rollins was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patriotledger.com\/story\/news\/2021\/12\/08\/senate-confirms-rollins-us-attorney-mass-harris-breaks-tie\/6438419001\/\">confirmed<\/a> as U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts on Wednesday after Vice President Kamala Harris broke a 50-50 tie in the U.S. Senate. All 50 Republicans opposed the former Suffolk County District Attorney.<\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden nominated Rollins in July, which caused Republican lawmakers to loudly oppose her nomination.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR)&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/tom-cotton-block-biden-nominee-rachael-rollins\">said<\/a>&nbsp;in July:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"12\">\n<p>Democrats have defunded police departments, stopped prosecutions for numerous crimes, ended cash bail, and demanded early release even for violent criminals. These actions resulted in a historic increase in murders and contributed to the crime wave. Rachael Rollins won\u2019t stand up for the victims of these crimes, and I will seek to stop her nomination.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Sen.
