On Thursday, Warren sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission, asking them to investigate whether the platform\u2019s parent company, Meta, misled investors and advertising customers.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, her colleague, Washington Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), sent a letter to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Wednesday in regards to the same issue. She said \u201ca thorough investigation by the Commission and other enforcement agencies is paramount, not only because Facebook and its executives may have violated federal law, but because members of the public and businesses are entitled to know the facts regarding Facebook\u2019s conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Big Tech firms can get away with forcing harsh and dehumanizing working conditions.
