Here are some of the worst.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Australia puts positive COVID patients in fenced quarantine camps, arrests those who try to leave<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In at least one Australia state, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/top-australian-state-official-were-transferring-positive-covid-cases-to-quarantine-camps\">the army has rounded up<\/a> those who test positive for COVID-19, and those in close contact with them, and transferred them to a quarantine camp located in Howard Springs, just outside Northern Territory capital city Darwin. (That significantly expanded the army\u2019s role of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/dangerous-precedent-military-to-enforce-lockdowns-in-australias-largest-city\">enforcing COVID-19 lockdowns<\/a> over the summer and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/cops-fire-rubber-bullets-arrest-200-at-massive-australian-covid-19-lockdown-protest-in-melbourne\">shooting rubber bullets<\/a> at those who protested the lockdowns this fall.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MdA9NyQxsqI\">Video<\/a> has emerged from inside the facility showing that those quarantined cannot approach others inside the camp without a mask, or face a $5,000 (Australian) fine.<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Woman Threatened With $5,000 Fine Inside Australia&#039;s Quarantine Camp\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MdA9NyQxsqI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p>Last Thursday, police <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/three-teenagers-who-tested-negative-for-covid-arrested-in-australia-for-leaving-quarantine\">arrested<\/a> three teenagers for trying to flee the compound. Although the 15-, 16-, and 17-year-old inmates had tested negative for COVID-19, they had been in contact with someone who had tested positive for the virus.<\/p>\n<p>One detainee said once authorities place you in your room, \u201ct<em>hey leave you. They don\u2019t come and say anything, they don\u2019t check up, they don\u2019t do anything. You get delivered your meals once a day. And you are just left.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYou feel like you\u2019re in prison. You feel like you\u2019ve done something wrong,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s inhumane what they\u2019re doing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAustralia is currently building more camps similar to Howard Springs,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/its-inhumane-what-theyre-doing-australian-woman-details-her-experience-inside-covid-camp\">noted<\/a> Daily Wire reporter Tim Meads.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Austria locks down unvaccinated, announces likely national vaccine mandate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Austria has announced it will require all citizens, reportedly starting at age 14, to be fully vaccinated by February or face fines and possibly imprisonment. Each citizen\u2019s vaccination status would be noted in the individual\u2019s electronic health records.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor a long time \u2014 maybe too long \u2014 I and others assumed that it must be possible to convince people in Austria to voluntarily get vaccinated,\u201d said Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg on November 19, echoing President Biden. \u201cWe therefore have reached a very difficult decision to introduce a national vaccine mandate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time, the government had not yet formulated the details of the law \u2014 but on December 1, a German newspaper reported the details of draft legislation now under consideration.<\/p>\n<p>It was previously reported that the government would fine anyone who refuses to receive the COVID-19 vaccination \u20ac3,600 ($4,080) for the first infraction, according to the&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.faz.net\/aktuell\/politik\/ausland\/corona-so-will-oesterreich-die-impfpflicht-durchsetzen-17660354.html\">Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung<\/a><\/em>. That fine could be forgiven if the person obeys and receives the vaccination. Those who refuse could see their fines doubled and could even be jailed. Greece: Those over 60 will be vaccin<\/strong>ated or fined one-seventh of their monthly pension&nbsp;until they are<\/p>\n<p>Greece has mandated that all citizens over 60 years of age receive the COVID-19 vaccination by mid-January 2022 or face a <em>monthly <\/em>fine until they relent and obey.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGreeks over the age of 60\u2026 must book their appointment for a first jab by January 16,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-59474808\">said<\/a> Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis late last month. \u201cTheir vaccination is henceforth compulsory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He further asserted that his actions, which made Greece the first E.U. nation to discriminate against unvaccinated people based on age, were \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2021\/dec\/01\/eu-must-consider-mandatory-covid-jabs-says-von-der-leyen\">absolutely constitutional<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Those who refuse the mandatory vaccination after that date will be fined government \u20ac100 ($113 U.S.) a month until they take the shot. As this author reported at The Daily Wire:Latvia has voted to ban politicians from voting on laws, debating bills in person or virtually, or receiving their salary if they refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccination.\u2026 The Baltic nation\u2019s 100-member parliament, known as the Saeima, barred elected lawmakers from having a voice in the nation\u2019s laws by a\u00a062-7\u00a0vote on Friday. \u2026 Beginning November 15, a legislator \u201cwill be entitled to participate in the work of the Saeima only if he or she has presented an interoperable Covid-19 certificate confirming the fact of vaccination\u201d to the body\u2019s Mandate, Ethics, and Submissions Committee, according to a\u00a0press release\u00a0from the governing body.\u2026Lawmakers may also produce a certificate showing that they have recovered from COVID-19 or \u201can opinion from a specialist or council of a clinical university hospital\u201d suggesting \u201cthe postponement of vaccination\u201d for medical reasons, together with a negative COVID test.
