The prince was sitting next to Swift, feeling relaxed and enjoying the music, when she suddenly made him an offer he couldn\u2019t refuse.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLittle did I think what was going to happen next. I\u2019m sat next to Taylor Swift. She\u2019s on my left. And after Jon does his first song, there\u2019s a pause, and she turns to me,\u201d he said. \u201cShe puts her hand on my arm, looks me in the eye and says, \u2018Come on, William. Let\u2019s go and sing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The duke can\u2019t believe Swift convinced him to join her on stage. \u201cTo this day, I still do not know what came over me,\u201d he continued. Next, he recounted his embarrassment at the whole situation, even in retrospect.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, even now I\u2019m cringing at what happened next, and I don\u2019t understand why I gave in,\u201d Prince William said.
