It was revealed during the trial that the teenager suffers from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) since the night he was attacked in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last year. At the time of the trial, he said he was still in therapy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKyle\u2019s best friend is his service dog, Milo,\u201d the post is captioned. \u201cKyle and Milo first met on a cold, snowy day in January \u2013 they have been inseparable ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor nearly a year, Milo has been a source of unconditional love, strength and security for Kyle,\u201d it reads. \u201cThis is the day they met.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rittenhouse was acquitted by a jury last month on all charges against him related to the deadly riot.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing in a teaser clip for a documentary from Fox News host Tucker Carlson, the teen said immediately following the acquittal that the jury \u201creached the right verdict.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSelf-defense is not illegal, and I believe they came to the correct verdict, and I\u2019m glad that everything went well. \u2026&nbsp;It\u2019s been a rough journey, but we made it through it,\u201d he told the camera crew. \u201cWe made it through the hard part.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also revealed that he has nightmares about the incident, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/kyle-rittenhouse-demonized-by-press-worked-as-janitor-fry-cook-to-help-support-mom-sisters\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s the stuff that keeps you up at night, like once you do get to sleep, your dreams are about what happened and you\u2019re waking up in a dark cold sweat,\u201d the teenager revealed to Carlson\u2019s crew.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Rittenhouse said he has dreams about the deadly night \u201cevery single night.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s quite scary actually, because the dreams feel so real. They\u2019re the different scenarios that run through your heard during the day, like, what could have happened,\u201d he detailed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m alive, but what could have happened, like what if I wasn\u2019t alive, or what if I did let Mr. Rosenbaum steal my gun? It\u2019s those types of dreams \u2026 almost every outcome is either me getting seriously injured or hurt or dead.
