On Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said the vaccine mandate for private sector businesses is necessary because of the Omicron variant.<\/p>\n<p>She also attacked GOP senators and some Democrats behind the push to outlaw the mandate by calling them \u201cthe anti-vaccine and testing crowd.\u201d All 50 Senate Republicans along with Democrat&nbsp; Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and others expressed opposition to the mandate. Earlier in the day, a district court in Georgia blocked Biden\u2019s mandate for federal contractors in all 50 states.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/wsj-poll-biden-covid-19-vaccine-11638899917\">A recent poll by the Wall Street Journal<\/a> found 47 percent of Americans oppose Biden\u2019s vaccine mandate.
