Monday, he announced a new requirement that the city\u2019s&nbsp;3.6 million&nbsp;private-sector employees be vaccinated by December 27, just a few days before he leaves office. The mandate will affect about&nbsp;184,000&nbsp;private-sector businesses, including small employers of any size.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"ad-container desktop ad-h-50 ad-w-300\">\n<blockquote readability=\"8.8231441048035\">\n<div id=\"desk-ad-lb2\" class=\"ad gam\" data-ad-lz=\"1\" readability=\"16.665938864629\">&nbsp;This rule comes at the worst possible time for these small business owners, including local Job Creators Network members. They are already contending with New York City\u2019s skyrocketing crime, delayed public services, sky-high rents, and burdensome taxes and regulations. If&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/category\/fox-news-new-york-city\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">de Blasio<\/a>&nbsp;actually wanted to do some good during his last days in office, he\u2019d try to address some of these barriers holding small businesses and the Big Apple\u2019s economy back.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote readability=\"10\">\n<p>Instead, de Blasio is further burdening these entrepreneurs by deputizing them to act as the city\u2019s vaccine police. They will be forced to spend their valuable time tracking their employees\u2019 vaccination status and ensuring immunizations before the deadline.
