According to a description from the publisher, Cuomo\u2019s book was set to be \u201ca provocative analysis of the harsh truths that the pandemic and Trump years have exposed about America \u2014 about our strength and our character \u2014 and a roadmap of the work needed to make our ideals match reality.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The announcement is the latest blow to Cuomo, who was terminated by CNN following an investigation into the primetime host\u2019s campaign to assist in the defense of his brother, disgraced former New York Gov.&nbsp;Andrew Cuomo (D), who resigned in August over sexual harassment and misconduct allegations. The fired CNN host also had a sexual misconduct allegation against him, which may have contributed to his removal, an attorney representing his accuser claims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHearing the hypocrisy of Chris Cuomo\u2019s on-air words and disgusted by his efforts to try to discredit these women, my client retained counsel to report his serious sexual misconduct against her to CNN,\u201d&nbsp;lawyer Debra Katz&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/the-media\/2021\/12\/05\/report-chris-cuomo-sexual-misconduct-allegation-against-him\/\">said<\/a>&nbsp;in a statement. \u201cMy client came forward at this time because she felt in sharing her story and related documentation, she could help protect other women.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"google-auto-placed ap_container\" readability=\"32.203300561798\">\n<p>At first, CNN suspended Cuomo indefinitely&nbsp;on Tuesday, only to later fire him&nbsp;\u201ceffective immediately\u201d after a law firm probed the explosive matter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile in the process of that review, additional information has come to light,\u201d the network said in a statement. \u201cDespite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following his firing, Cuomo reacted to the news by expressing gratitude to his staff.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cThis is not how I want my time at CNN to end but I have already told you why and how I helped my brother,\u201d he tweeted. \u201cSo let me now say as disappointing as this is, I could not be more proud of the team at&nbsp;<i>Cuomo Prime Time&nbsp;<\/i>and the work we did as CNN\u2019s #1 show in the most competitive time slot.
