Terwilliger II released a letter notifying the committee that his client would no longer be participating:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe agreed to provide thousands of pages of responsive documents and Mr. Meadows was willing to appear voluntarily, not under compulsion of the Select Committee\u2019s subpoena to him, for a deposition to answer questions about non-privileged matters. Now actions by the Select Committee have made such an appearance untenable,\u201d the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/12\/07\/politics\/meadows-jan-6-letter-120721\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">letter from George J.
