The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?fbid=5076303079064750&amp;set=a.116578558370585&amp;type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nov. 28 Facebook post<\/a> claims it was taken \u201cthis morning at Calabar port,\u201d adding, \u201cThey were waiting for two Toyota Corolla vehicles , bought online from Dubai.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/place\/Calabar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Calabar<\/a> is a port city on Nigeria\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Calabar+River\/@5.0148383,8.216054,29131m\/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x105d629888e2afab:0xb8080fd6c5da4cf3!8m2!3d4.9581509!4d8.3061067\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Calabar River<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, the photo was not taken anywhere in Nigeria. BBC News displayed a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mynassah\/status\/1375197007766290439\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tweet<\/a> showing footage of the same scene in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/topics\/clm1wxp5pert\/malawi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">March 26 report<\/a> titled \u201cMalawi stops \u2018precious stone\u2019 leaving for China.\u201d The shipping container held a massive stone that, at the time, the Malawian government stopped from being shipped to China, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/topics\/clm1wxp5pert\/malawi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Malawian Minister for Mines Rashid Gaffar told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/topics\/clm1wxp5pert\/malawi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC News<\/a> he had temporarily barred its exportation so his ministry could determine if the stone was sold for a fair price. Two Chinese citizens had been fined when they attempted to ship it to China two years earlier, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/topics\/clm1wxp5pert\/malawi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC News<\/a> reported. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/02\/09\/fact-check-video-nigerian-students-jumping-avoid-coronavirus-vaccines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Video Show Nigerian Students Jumping From A School Building To Avoid Taking COVID-19 Vaccines?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A version of the image in the Facebook post appeared in a March 26 <a href=\"https:\/\/malawi24.com\/2021\/03\/26\/china-bound-rock-sample-shocks-malawians\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Malawi 24 article<\/a>.
