Fred Keller\u2019s (R-PA) Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to combat&nbsp;President Biden\u2019s vaccine mandate on businesses, the congressman announced Tuesday, putting a&nbsp;218 majority in sight for House Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Keller introduced a&nbsp;Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to \u201cdisapprove of and nullify\u201d the federal vaccine mandate Biden is attempting to force on American businesses and workers via the&nbsp;Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The rule, which is currently on hold due to ongoing litigation, requires employers with 100 or more employees to either mandate vaccines or implement testing requirements. The cost of the latter option would likely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/04\/osha-rule-imposes-burdens-on-the-unvaccinated-does-not-require-employers-to-pay-for-any-costs-associated-with-testing\/\">fall<\/a> on workers, as OSHA is not mandating businesses to pay for the costs associated with testing.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p><b>\u201c<\/b>Every Republican member of the House is united in our effort to eliminate President Biden\u2019s unconstitutional vaccine mandate for America\u2019s businesses,\u201d Keller announced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrivate employers and workers have worked too hard to recover from this pandemic to have their livelihoods ripped away over what should be a private medical decision. Reg. 61402 (November 5, 2021)), and such rule shall have no force or effect.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Notably, Keller <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/17\/over-160-republican-lawmakers-rally-behind-resolution-nullify-bidens-vaccine-mandate\/\">saw<\/a> overwhelming support \u2014 over 160 lawmakers \u2014 supporting the measure right out of the gate. Days later, he told <em>Breitbart News Saturday<\/em>&nbsp;the number <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/20\/exclusive-rep-fred-keller-195-house-republicans-50-senators-support-measure-to-nullify-bidens-vaccine-mandate\/\">grew<\/a> to 195. What is more, all 50 Republican senators, as well as Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), support the companion bill in the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn America, we have personal liberties and freedoms, and this is an overreach,\u201d Keller told <em>Breitbart News Saturday<\/em> last month. \u201cAnd what we\u2019re doing is we\u2019re working to strike down that mandate and we know we\u2019re on the right path.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd if you sign on with it and join us, in striking down this mandate with the Congressional Review Act, you\u2019re standing with the American people in making sure that the government doesn\u2019t become too big and take your rights and liberties,\u201d Keller said, explaining their efforts \u201cto do everything we can to get this out of the Senate and House and, quite frankly, get the president to veto it. This is where it\u2019s at.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnybody that doesn\u2019t sign on to it can\u2019t claim to want to protect your liberties and freedoms. We took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, which guarantees us rights. It tells us we limit the power to the government, we the people, not the other way around,\u201d he added, concluding that \u201cyou&nbsp;either stand with the overreach of power from an executive, or you stand with the freedom and liberties and the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the difference between supporting this and not supporting this,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about a veto from Biden, in the event of the measure moving through both the House and Senate, Keller said he hopes they would have \u201cenough members of Congress to say you don\u2019t have that authority and we\u2019d override a veto.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Currently, OSHA has&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/17\/osha-vaccine-mandate-court-order\/\">suspended<\/a> the implementation of the rule due to ongoing litigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The entire Republican House conference, all 212 members, are backing Rep.
