While previously proof of either full vaccination or recovery of COVID was required, eligibility was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-scotland-58422607\">expanded<\/a> on Monday to allow those with proof of a negative lateral flow test to also attend.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"5.8333333333333\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Two Years of Control: New UK COVID Rules Set in Law Until March <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/v02RrIeCjQ\">https:\/\/t.co\/v02RrIeCjQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1466040888837083140?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 1, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This development is in stark contrast to what is happening in a wide variety of other European countries.<\/p>\n<p>Austria has already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/19\/austria-unvaccinated-could-face-prison-as-country-locks-down-and-announces-vaccine-mandate\/\">announced<\/a> that the unvaccinated will be kept in a state of lockdown in perpetuity, and that from February, vaccination against COVID will be made mandatory.<\/p>\n<p>Germany has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/12\/02\/merkel-announces-restrictions-on-unvaccinated-vote-on-making-jabs-compulsory\/\">followed suit<\/a> in locking down the unvaccinated, and is currently considering a similar vaccination mandate. This is despite warnings from a German intelligence agency that \u201ccompulsory vaccinations will reinforce the aggressive attitude\u201d, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/world-news\/2021\/12\/04\/german-intelligence-agency-warns-mandatory-vaccinations-will\/\">according<\/a> to <em>The Telegraph<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/12\/02\/chinafication-of-europe-eu-president-hints-at-bloc-wide-vaccine-mandate\/\">called for<\/a> EU discussions into mandatory vaccination within the bloc, a move that has been branded as the \u201cChinafication of Europe\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A ruling politician in Northern Britain has suggested that people should take a COVID test every time they leave home.
