So, right now, I have to take a step back and focus on what comes next.\u201d That means I will no longer be doing my SiriusXM radio show.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"3.9024390243902\">\n<p lang=\"und\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mACJo3SqID\">pic.twitter.com\/mACJo3SqID<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Christopher C. I also want to express my sincere appreciation for my loyal listeners. I will miss our conversations a great deal \u2013 but I look forward to being back in touch with you all in the future,\u201d the befallen media figure concluded.<\/p>\n<p>SiriusXM <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jeremymbarr\/status\/1467958771813081090?s=20\">issued<\/a> a separate statement on the matter: \u201cFollowing Chris Cuomo\u2019s statement that he is leaving his SiriusXM show, Let\u2019s Get After It will no longer air. We thank Chris for his work at SiriusXM.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The development comes after CNN announced Saturday that it has fired Cuomo following an investigation into his campaign to assist in the defence of his brother, disgraced former New York Gov.&nbsp;Andrew Cuomo (D), who resigned in August over sexual harassment and misconduct allegations from former and current staff members.&nbsp;The fired CNN host is said to have a sexual misconduct allegation against him, which may have contributed to his termination, an attorney representing his accuser said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHearing the hypocrisy of Chris Cuomo\u2019s on-air words and disgusted by his efforts to try to discredit these women, my client retained counsel to report his serious sexual misconduct against her to CNN,\u201d&nbsp;lawyer Debra Katz <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/the-media\/2021\/12\/05\/report-chris-cuomo-sexual-misconduct-allegation-against-him\/\">said<\/a> in a statement. \u201cMy client came forward at this time because she felt in sharing her story and related documentation, she could help protect other women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The network&nbsp;suspended Cuomo indefinitely&nbsp;on Tuesday but<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/12\/04\/media\/cnn-fires-chris-cuomo\/index.html\">&nbsp;issued a statement<\/a>&nbsp;Saturday evening that he had been terminated \u201ceffective immediately\u201d after a law firm it kept on retainer conducted a review.<br \/>\u201cWhile in the process of that review, additional information has come to light,\u201d CNN said. \u201cDespite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chris Cuomo thanked his coworkers and staff in a statement&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChrisCuomo\/status\/1467261787867389964\">shared to Twitter<\/a>&nbsp;following the news.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cThis is not how I want my time at CNN to end but I have already told you why and how I helped my brother,\u201d he wrote. \u201cSo let me now say as disappointing as this is, I could not be more proud of the team at&nbsp;<i>Cuomo Prime Time&nbsp;<\/i>and the work we did as CNN\u2019s #1 show in the most competitive time slot.
