The actor deleted one of his verified Twitter accounts on Sunday \u2014 the same account on which he first posted his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/alec-baldwin-shock-sadness-over-deadly-movie-rust-shooting-1235035357\/\">statement<\/a> of \u201cshock and sadness\u201d about the death of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin has a second account, but he has not used it since Oct. 19. As first detailed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/general-news\/alec-baldwin-deletes-twitter-account-1235057531\/\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, other Twitter accounts associated with Baldwin are also limiting who can engage with them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[The other accounts] have also gone dark or been set to private,\u201d the outlet reported Monday, \u201cwith the account of the actor\u2019s foundation (@ABFalecbaldwin) and his wife\u2019s account (@HilariaBaldwin) restricting access to approved followers only since early November following Baldwin retweeting \u2018Rust\u2019 crew member Terese Magpale Davis\u2019 statement denying an unsafe work environment on the production.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During his interview with Stephanopoulos, Baldwin <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ABC\/status\/1467569466049380355?s=20\">insisted<\/a> that he did not pull the trigger on the revolver that killed Hutchins, but said instead that he had the gun cocked, and when he let the hammer down, it misfired.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, the trigger wasn\u2019t pulled,\u201d Baldwin replied when the Good Morning America anchor asked him about the incident. He then went on, \u201cI didn\u2019t pull the trigger\u2026I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger. Never, never \u2026 I let go of the hammer. Bang, the gun goes off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 63-year-old also said he doesn\u2019t feel guilt over Hutchins\u2019 death because, \u201cI feel that someone is responsible for what happened and I can\u2019t say who that is, but it\u2019s not me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many legal experts have expressed surprise that Baldwin gave an interview while the investigation into Hutchins\u2019 death is still ongoing.
