Other emails showed Hunter Biden arranging a joint Chinese venture in which his father would have a 10% stake.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>At the time, Psaki tweeted a <em>Politico&nbsp;<\/em>article: \u201cHunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.\u201d The article reported on a letter signed by 50 former officials, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/national-security\/2020\/10\/19\/clapper-brennan-hunter-biden-emails-russian-disinformation-whether-genuine-or-not\/\">including<\/a> anti-Trump crusaders James Clapper and John Brennan.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"6.5106382978723\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zRdHxTxVsl\">https:\/\/t.co\/zRdHxTxVsl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jen Psaki (@jrpsaki) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jrpsaki\/status\/1318382779659411458?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 20, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hunter Biden acknowledged after the election that he was under federal investigation; original <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/radio\/2021\/11\/03\/emma-jo-morris-big-tech-censors-laptop-from-hell-scoops\/\">reporting<\/a> by Emma Jo Morris \u2014 now Breitbart News\u2019 political editor \u2014 and others was vindicated, and new details have emerged to raise further concerns about Hunter Biden\u2019s efforts on behalf of Chinese business interests and other foreign actors, using access to his father.<\/p>\n<p>In September, after <em>Politico<\/em>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.twelvebooks.com\/titles\/ben-schreckinger\/the-bidens\/9781538738009\/\">reported<\/a> that some of the emails on the laptop had been confirmed by one of its reporters, Psaki <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/23\/press-secretary-ignores-question-about-hunter-bidens-laptop-upon-reports-of-authenticity\/\">dodged<\/a> a question about the laptop. The next day, facing questions, she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2021\/sep\/24\/jen-psaki-sticks-russian-disinformation-story-afte\/\">doubled down<\/a> on the \u201cdisinformation\u201d claim: \u201c\u201cI think it\u2019s broadly known and widely known that there was a broad range of Russian disinformation back in 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A reporter from the&nbsp;<em>New York Post<\/em> asked Psaki in a White House briefing Monday whether, given the release of Miranda Devine\u2019s book, <em>The Laptop from Hell,&nbsp;<\/em>Psaki&nbsp;would admit the laptop \u201cis indeed authentic, and not Russian disinformation as you seemed to suggest on Twitter last year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Psaki would not answer: \u201cThe president\u2019s son is not an employee of the federal government, so I\u2019d point you to his representatives.\u201d She said she had no interest in the book, and moved on hurriedly to the next journalist.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
