And that\u2019s what I did,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/young-cancer-survivor-uses-make-a-wish-wish-to-give-back-to-other-sick-kids\">said<\/a> high school junior Mason Rockmore of Westfield, New Jersey, per News 12.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>The cancer survivor used his Make-A-Wish \u201cto help enrich the lives of his fellow pediatric patients who spend days, weeks and sometimes months at the hospital,\u201d Make-A-Wish New Jersey <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/wishnj\/posts\/10159549375913445\">wrote<\/a> in a Facebook post.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI got a bunch of electronics so the kids on the inpatient floor would not be super bored,\u201d he told News 12.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/wishnj\/photos\/pcb.10159549375913445\/10159549370198445\" data-width=\"640\" readability=\"7.6190476190476\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/wishnj\/photos\/a.146531093444\/10159549370198445\/?type=3\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\" readability=\"1.6666666666667\">\n<p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/132160988444\">Make-A-Wish New Jersey<\/a> on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/wishnj\/photos\/a.146531093444\/10159549370198445\/?type=3\">Tuesday, November 30, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>On Tuesday, Make-A-Wish <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tapinto.net\/towns\/westfield\/sections\/giving-back\/articles\/westfield-teen-cancer-survivor-gives-back-with-make-a-wish\">provided<\/a> the pediatric oncology unit with electronics \u201cincluding&nbsp;several tablets, Amazon Fire Sticks, Apple TV, an XBox, PS5, and two Nintendo Switches, along with TV and gaming subscriptions like Disney Plus, Netflix and game passes,\u201d according to TAPinto Westfield.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Rockmore, who has been cancer-free for a little more than a year, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer, in February of 2020. He promptly started treatment which entailed spending three to four nights at a time in Hackensack Meridian Children\u2019s Health pediatric oncology unit at Joseph M. Sanzari Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was pretty boring,\u201d Rockmore told TAPinto Westfield. \u201cWhen I was in the hospital, I\u2019d be thinking about the treatments. There are some kids there for three months for a bone marrow transplant, and there\u2019s not much to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow fitting it is for Mason\u2019s wish to be granted on Giving Tuesday and amidst the giving season, bringing much needed joy to other children over the holidays and well into the future,\u201d said Tom Weatherhall, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish New Jersey, per the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Weatherhall stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11\">\n<p><span>Mason wanted other pediatric patients being treated by our dear partners at Hackensack Meridian Children\u2019s Health at Joseph M.
