Most, 57 percent, said no. That sentiment is shared by 81 percent of Republicans and 63 percent of independents.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Additionally:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"14\">\n<p>Voters 65 and older are most likely to have received the COVID-19 vaccine, and are more confident in the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine compared to younger voters.<\/p>\n<p>More black voters (35%) than whites (24%) or other minorities (31%) say they\u2019re Very Concerned about the potential of harmful side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Government employees are more confident than private sector workers in the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine, and are also more likely to have been vaccinated against the virus.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The survey, taken December&nbsp;1-2, 2021, among 1,000 U.S. likely voters, has a margin of error of +\/- 3 percent.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">The news comes as the Biden&nbsp;administration ups its calls for Americans to get vaccinated, now urging parents to get their eligible children&nbsp;vaccinated as well. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While officials tout the effectiveness of the vaccines and booster shots, Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted over the weekend that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is not publicizing the data on the number of breakthrough infections to the general public at this time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a very complicated situation. And often the public doesn\u2019t hear yet in time things that are being collected,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/transcript-dr-anthony-fauci-on-face-the-nation-november-28-2021\/\">said<\/a> during an appearance on <em>Face the Nation.&nbsp;<\/em>So there\u2019s a lot of data, clearly a lot of data, that\u2019s being collected by the CDC that people don\u2019t know about yet.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most voters are \u201cconcerned\u201d about the \u201cpotential of harmful side effects\u201d of coronavirus vaccines, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Friday found.
