There are no discipline records at the high school.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Bouchard reacted by saying, \u201cIn terms of school discipline, he may be right, but at the point \u2014 and certainly in the second meeting in the second day \u2026 we would have very much wanted our school resource officer in on that meeting. He would have taken protocols we have in place to have [the suspect] removed from the school until action has happened. (AP Photo\/Paul Sancya)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Bouchard said his office also would have \u201cmade sure [the shooting suspect] had no access to weapons.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/01\/oakland-suspect-charged-as-adult\/\">noted<\/a>&nbsp;that Bouchard indicated the school did have contact with the suspect the day before and the day of the shooting because of behavior concerns.
