There is no evidence Vox published the article.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Featured in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kyotog777\/photos\/a.161394207530105\/1641691516167026\/?type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">viral Facebook post<\/a> is what looks like a screen grab of a Google preview of a news article purportedly published by Vox. The headline of the supposed article attempts to link the <a href=\"https:\/\/raisingchildren.net.au\/preschoolers\/health-daily-care\/dressing\/shoelaces\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cBunny Ears\u201d method<\/a> of tying shoelaces to racism.<\/p>\n<p>Check Your Fact didn\u2019t find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/search?q=bunny+ear+method\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">any article<\/a> with the headline \u201cHow teaching children the Bunny Ear method for tying their shoes is actually an act of racist oppression\u201d on Vox\u2019s website. An article to that effect also does not appear on Vox\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/page\/223649167822693\/search\/?q=bunny%20ear\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">verified Facebook<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%22bunny%20ear%22%20(from%3Avoxdotcom)&amp;src=typed_query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Vox has published numerous articles <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/identities\/2020\/6\/9\/21283715\/how-to-talk-kids-racism-race-protests\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">discussing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/22528334\/race-norming-medical-racism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">racism<\/a> in the past, but none of those stories include any mention of the \u201cBunny Ears\u201d method of tying shoelaces. The image being shared on Facebook seems to be fabricated.<\/p>\n<p>A Vox spokesperson confirmed to Check Your Fact in an email that the story is fake and was never published by the outlet. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/11\/17\/fact-check-nyt-article-britney-spears-crime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did The New York Times Publish An Article Titled, \u2018Judge Rules That Britney Spears Is Allowed To Commit Crimes\u2019?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time social media users have shared an image fabricated to look like an article from a news outlet.
