It may sound cliched, but new details of how individuals are processed into the camp show that the assessment of the camps is accurate.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/three-teenagers-who-tested-negative-for-covid-arrested-in-australia-for-leaving-quarantine\">reported<\/a> that this past week \u201cthree teenagers were arrested in Australia after climbing a fence to escape a COVID-19 quarantine compound in the middle of the night\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><em>The teens \u2013 aged 15, 16, and 17 \u2013 had all tested negative for COVID-19 but were being quarantined because they were close contacts of people who had tested positive. They were being held in a COVID-19 quarantine facility in Howard Springs, just outside Northern Territory capital city Darwin, Australia news outlet ABC&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/news\/2021-12-01\/multiple-people-escape-howard-springs-quarantine-facility-darwin\/100663994\">reported<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Now, 26-year-old Hayley Hodgson recently detailed her experience being taken by authorities into the Howard detainment camp, a 2,000 person facility. Hodgson did not even have COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Hodgson told UnHeard News that police came to her door and asked if she had a covid test. Hodgson admits she lied and said she had. Here is what happened next, according to Hodgson\u2019s interview with UnHeard News.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSo then the police officers blocked my driveway,\u201d she says.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> \u201cI walked out and I said, \u2018What\u2019s going on, are you guys testing me for COVID? What\u2019s happening?\u201d They said, \u2018No, you\u2019re getting taken away. And you have no choice. You\u2019re going to Howard Springs. You either come with us now, and we\u2019ll put you in the back of the divvy van. Or you can have a choice to get a \u2018COVID cab\u2019\u2026 I just said, \u2018I don\u2019t consent to this. I don\u2019t understand why I can\u2019t just self-isolate at home, like a lot of other people are doing.\u2019 And they just said, \u2018We\u2019ve just been told from higher up where to take you. And that\u2019s all that there is.&#8217;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>UnHerd reports that Howard Springs camp is advertised as \u201cthe safest and most functional design for quarantine in Australia.\u201d Hodgson was told she would be able to leave once she tested negative at the state-run facility, but authorities kept her there for 14 days despite being tested three times. She was even threatened with a fine of $5,000 AUD \u2014 the equivalent of $3,510.88\u2014 for not wearing a mask at one point, she says.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, the Australian woman says:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYou literally get put on the back of a golf buggy with your bags. And these people are in hazmat suits and everything. They don\u2019t want to come near you because they think you\u2019re infectious. And they literally drop you to your room. And they leave you. They don\u2019t come and say anything, they don\u2019t check up, they don\u2019t do anything. You get delivered your meals once a day. And you are just left.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>She adds:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYou feel like you\u2019re in prison. You feel like you\u2019ve done something wrong, it\u2019s inhumane what they\u2019re doing. You are so small, they just overpower you. And you\u2019re literally nothing.
