We won\u2019t allow ourselves to be replaced,\u201d he said in the video, which is restricted by YouTube.com:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=k8IGBDK1BH8&#038;feature=oembed\">https:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=k8IGBDK1BH8&amp;feature=oembed<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>The <em>NYTimes<\/em> article insisted that Zemmour has violated a liberal taboo by suggesting that France could be changed by migration and diversity:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"8.395256916996\">\n<p>With Mr. Zemmour\u2019s candidacy, the previously taboo topic of the \u201c<a class=\"css-1g7m0tk\" title href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2019\/09\/20\/world\/europe\/renaud-camus-great-replacement.html\">great replacement<\/a>\u201d \u2014 a conspiracy theory accusing politicians like Mr. Macron of using immigration to replace white, Christian people \u2014 has become part of the election discourse.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The report somehow slams Zemmour\u2019s policy as \u201cfar right\u201d while also admitting his concerns are shared by most French people:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"6.8592964824121\">\n<p>According to a recent <a class=\"css-1g7m0tk\" title href=\"https:\/\/harris-interactive.fr\/opinion_polls\/barometre-dintentions-de-vote-pour-lelection-presidentielle-de-2022-vague-18\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">poll<\/a>, 61 percent of French respondents said they believed that Europe\u2019s white and Christian population would be subjected to a \u201cgreat replacement\u2019\u2019 by Muslim immigrants.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But what France really needs are innovative and clever migrants to replace it own unmotivated, unskilled people, according to the <em>NYTimes<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"14\">\n<p>Modest changes have been carried out in recent years. But they are insufficient to attract the kind of motivated, skilled immigrants that France desperately needs to bring innovation and fresh thinking, Ms. Auriol said. Given the anti-immigrant climate, France also attracts relatively few citizens of other European Union nations, who can move freely to France, and suffers from a low retention of foreign students after graduation, she said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The December 2 article by Onishi echoes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/11\/23\/world\/asia\/immigration-pandemic-labor-shortages.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a November 23 pro-migration article<\/a> from the <em>NYTimes<\/em>\u2018 Australian bureau chief, Damien Cave:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"10\">\n<p>As the global economy heats up and tries to put the pandemic aside, a battle for the young and able has begun. With fast-track visas and promises of permanent residency, many of the wealthy nations driving the recovery are sending a message to skilled immigrants all over the world: Help wanted. Now.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Breitbart News covered the <em>NYTimes<\/em>\u2018 Australia article, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"12.903914590747\">\n<p>\u201cOn busy nights, dishwashers at one upscale restaurant in Sydney&nbsp;<a class=\"css-1g7m0tk x5l\" title href=\"https:\/\/www.smh.com.au\/national\/dishwashers-on-90-an-hour-as-staff-shortages-smash-hospitality-sector-20211119-p59a9x.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">are earning<\/a>&nbsp;$65 an hour,\u201d wrote author Damien Cave in a long article cheerleading for the importation of cheap labor into Australia, the United States,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/21\/new-zealand-chops-migration-to-deflate-housing-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Zealand<\/a>, Germany, Japan, and other wealthy countries.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But, as with the French, the Australians also prefer higher wages and domestic tranquility to the corporate push for lower wages and chaotic diversity,&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/news\/2021-04-19\/verrender-the-great-skilled-worker-shortage-wages-oecd\/100077706\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">reported<\/a>&nbsp;the business editor at ABC.net.au:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11\">\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">There\u2019s an easy fix to skills shortages \u2014&nbsp;pay higher wages. Instead, the push has been on to import large numbers of extra workers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">There are two reasons why. The first is to depress the price of labour. And the second&nbsp;is that rapid expansion of the population results in a bigger economy and a larger potential market which makes it easier for businesses to make more money without any need for innovation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The same <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/20\/gop-donors-economist-immigration-can-offset-foreign-trade-risks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">investor-first policy<\/a> is being pushed in the United States by President Joe Biden and his Wall Street allies.<\/p>\n<p>For 30 years, immigration has curbed Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/07\/11\/president-trump-wins-big-on-secret-meatpacking-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, shrunk their political&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS946US946&amp;oq=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.10228j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>, and widened regional wealth&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaps<\/a>.
