Several times he also found a massage \u201carm\u201d with a ball at the end that vibrated. When Alessi was hired, Epstein was getting one massage a day, but he was up to three a day by the time Alessi quit, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell was the one who primarily directed Alessi in his job at Epstein\u2019s house, giving him \u201cmany, many instructions,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>One of those instructions involved&nbsp;eye contact with Epstein.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJeffrey doesn\u2019t like to be looked at in his eyes,\u201d Alessi said Maxwell told him, adding that he should \u201clook at another part of the room\u201d when speaking to him.<\/p>\n<p>When Epstein stayed at the house, Alessi said he had to make \u201cextensive preparations,\u201d which included making&nbsp;sure Epstein\u2019s cars had $100 bills in them.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell was with Epstein 95% of the time when he stayed at the Palm Beach house, Alessi said. She slept in Epstein\u2019s master bedroom with him and had her own bathroom just off the bedroom.<\/p>\n<p>At one point, Maxwell gave Alessi a detailed book of rules for his job with \u201cenough work for 10 people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry to say, but it was very degrading to me,\u201d Alessi said of the rule book, calling it \u201cunbelievable to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wasn\u2019t hired to do that type of work,\u201d he said. \u201cI told her that I will not do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell\u2019s rule book told staff to \u201canticipate the needs of Mr. Epstein, Ms. Maxwell, and their guests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The book also ordered staff to \u201cnever disclose\u201d Epstein\u2019s whereabouts to anyone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRemember that you see nothing, hear nothing, and say nothing except when there\u2019s a question directed to you,\u201d the rule book said.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution has accused Maxwell of fostering a \u201cculture of silence\u201d among Epstein\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n<p>The rule book also included instructions on how to care for Maxwell\u2019s Yorkie dog, who traveled with Maxwell all the time and would \u201cshake\u201d when Maxwell took her on Epstein\u2019s planes because she \u201chated it,\u201d Alessi said.<\/p>\n<p>A wall Epstein\u2019s staff called the \u201cBerlin Wall\u201d obstructed their view of the Palm Beach house\u2019s pool area from the staff house, Alessi told the court. The wall was built while Epstein was living there.<\/p>\n<p>Near Maxwell\u2019s desk there were \u201cmany\u201d photos of topless females that appeared to have been taken near Epstein\u2019s pool. Maxwell was the only one who used to take photos around the Palm Beach house, Alessi said.<\/p>\n<p>Around the house were photos of Epstein with the Pope and Fidel Castro.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Alessi saw females by the pool \u201chundreds of times,\u201d he said. \u201cMany females\u201d visited Epstein at his house, and \u201cmost of them appeared to be in their late 20s,\u201d he said. About 75 to 80% of the time, females in Epstein\u2019s pool area were topless, Alessi said.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein\u2019s \u201clittle black book\u201d with the phone numbers of his friends was shown in court on Thursday. The book included the numbers of people who would come to give Epstein massages, 98% of whom were female, Alessi said. The phone number of \u201cJane,\u201d the Maxwell accuser who testified this week under a pseudonym, was in the little black book, he testified.<\/p>\n<p>Alessi says he saw two females who \u201cappeared to be underage\u201d at Epstein\u2019s house, \u201cJane\u201d and Virginia Roberts, both of whom appeared 14 or 15 when he met them, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Alessi and his wife, who also worked&nbsp; for Epstein, were sent by Maxwell and Epstein on several occasions to pick \u201cJane\u201d up from school or her house and bring her to Epstein\u2019s house.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell instructed him to make everyone he drove sit in the back of the car.<\/p>\n<p>Alessi drove both \u201cJane\u201d and Virginia Roberts to the airport and watched both of them get on Epstein\u2019s private plane, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Alessi says he met Roberts one day when he and Maxwell were driving around to different spas in the Palm Beach area. The defense also suggested Maxwell herself may have been groomed by Epstein and quizzed psychologist Rocchio on whether \u201cgrooming\u201d behaviors could actually be innocent.\u201cBeing nice to someone is not grooming, correct?\u201d the defense asked Rocchio.Maxwell appeared in court Thursday wearing a black sweater and black face mask.
