The conflicts began in July, when Harris\u2019s staffers&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/07\/01\/kamala-harris-staffers-feel-treated-like-s-work-abusive-environment\/\">leaked<\/a>&nbsp;inner clashes to the establishment media, suggesting the vice president\u2019s office has \u201ctreated [them] like shit\u201d in an \u201cabusive environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Other staffers have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/15\/white-house-insiders-kamala-harris-bitter-bidens-favoritism-white-man-pete-buttigieg\/\">revealed<\/a> their frustration that \u201cwhite man\u201d Transportation Secretary Pete&nbsp;Buttigieg\u2019s potential 2024 presidential bid is \u201cdisrespectful\u201d to their boss, though Buttigieg has downplayed his ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>Buttigieg will likely benefit from President&nbsp;Biden\u2019s $1.2 trillion infrastructure package as a key power broker in Washington, DC. Harris, meanwhile, was given the task of curtaining the southern border crisis that is producing a record amount of migrant inflows.<\/p>\n<p>The latest resignation from Harris\u2019s staff is Senior Adviser Symone Sanders, who announced Thursday she will leave her position at the end of the year to pursue other opportunities outside. Her announcement read in part:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"7\">\n<p>I\u2019m so grateful to the VP for her vote of confidence from the very beginning and the opportunity to see what can be unburdened by what has been. I\u2019m grateful for [Harris chief of staff] Tina [Flournoy] and her leadership and her confidence as well.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Sanders, a distinguishable figure in Democrat politics, worked as a top staffer for Sen. Bernie Sanders\u2019 (I-VT) 2016 presidential run and joined President Biden\u2019s 2020 presidential bid as a senior adviser.<\/p>\n<p>After Sanders\u2019 announcement, White House press secretary Jen Psaki complimented Sanders as \u201cwhip smart\u201d and one who \u201chas charisma coming out of her eyeballs. \u2026 She\u2019ll always be part of this Biden-Harris family.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph\" readability=\"28.968421052632\">On Wednesday the <em>Washington Post<\/em>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/administration\/583970-two-more-harris-press-aides-leaving-in-addition-to-sanders\">confirmed<\/a>&nbsp;two other aides will depart from Harris\u2019s staff.<\/div>\n<p>\u201cPeter Velz, director of press operations, and Vince Evans, deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in the vice president\u2019s office, have also told others in the vice president\u2019s office that they are leaving,\u201d the <em>Post<\/em>&nbsp;wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The two reportedly dissatisfied aides will likely move over to Biden\u2019s team.<\/p>\n<p>The exodus from Harris\u2019s office seemed to be primed a week before Thanksgiving. On November 18, Harris\u2019s communications director, Ashley Etienne, announced she would leave Harris\u2019s office for \u201cother opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Etienne was a trusted senior adviser to Biden\u2019s presidential campaign before working for other politicians in Washington, DC, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Obama.<\/p>\n<p>Etienne\u2019s departure&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/15\/white-house-insiders-kamala-harris-bitter-bidens-favoritism-white-man-pete-buttigieg\/\">correlates<\/a>&nbsp;with White House leaks to CNN about Harris\u2019s alleged&nbsp;bitterness over President Joe Biden\u2019s favoritism toward Buttigieg.<\/p>\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph\" readability=\"32.946280991736\">\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph\" readability=\"36.388429752066\">\u201cAshley is a valued member of the vice president\u2019s team, who has worked tirelessly to advance the goals of this administration,\u201d a White House official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/11\/18\/politics\/ashley-etienne-kamala-harris\/index.html\">told<\/a> CNN. \u201cShe is leaving the office in December to pursue other opportunities.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph\" readability=\"22.4\">\n<p><em>Follow Wendell Huseb\u00f8 on Twitter&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WendellHusebo?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor\"><em>@WendellHuseb\u00f8<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four senior staffers have reportedly abandoned Vice President Kamala Harris in less than one month\u2019s time.
