Speaking to reporters in the White House press briefing room on Wednesday, where he detailed the first case of the Omicron variant in the U.S. \u2014 occurring in a vaccinated individual \u2014 Dr. Anthony Fauci said the priority <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/press-briefings\/2021\/12\/01\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-jen-psaki-december-1-2021\/\">remains<\/a>&nbsp;getting \u201c60 million\u201d unvaccinated individuals in this country to get the jab.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s get them vaccinated. Let\u2019s get the people who are vaccinated boosted. Let\u2019s get the children vaccinated. That\u2019s where we want to go, as opposed to a requirement,\u201d he said when asked if a vaccine requirement for domestic travel should be considered.<\/p>\n<p>However, Fauci also confirmed the suspicions of critics who have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/13\/ron-desantis-vows-fight-bidens-intrusive-vaccine-mandate-not-constitutional\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">warned<\/a> that public health officials will continue to move the goalposts when it comes to vaccine mandates. When asked if they would eventually change the definition of fully vaccinated to include only those who have also received booster shots, Fauci said it \u201ccould change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Florida Gov.
