Fauci. But all kidding aside, I sincerely mean it.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden praised Fauci during a visit to the National Institutes of Health headquarters in Maryland, praising the federal scientists for their work on fighting the virus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there\u2019s any audience I should be standing for, it\u2019s you,\u201d he said to the employees and health officials in the room as they stood and applauded as he entered.<\/p>\n<p>Biden spoke about increasing testing, expanding vaccinations and boosters, and wearing masks to fight the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a plan that I think should unite us,\u201d Biden said. \u201cI know COVID-19 has become divisive in this country. It\u2019s become a political issue, which is a sad, sad, commentary. It shouldn\u2019t be.
