They require immigration agents to delay the deportation of illegal aliens until they have been convicted of aggravated felonies.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>In August, Judge Drew Tipton of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas issued a preliminary injunction blocking the sanctuary country orders following a lawsuit from the states of Texas and Louisiana.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>However, a three-judge panel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/15\/obama-bush-judges-greenlight-bidens-sanctuary-country-orders-for-illegal-aliens\/\">stayed<\/a> Tipton\u2019s ruling the following month,&nbsp;<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/15\/obama-bush-judges-greenlight-bidens-sanctuary-country-orders-for-illegal-aliens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">saying<\/a>&nbsp;that \u201celiminating DHS\u2019s ability to prioritize removals poses a number of practical problems given its limited resources.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16578878\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"39\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16578878\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/7-19-ice-agents-arrest-criminal-illegal-aliens-file-ap.jpg\" alt=\"In this July 8, 2019, photo, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers escort a man in handcuffs during an operation in Escondido, Calif. (AP Photo\/Gregory Bull)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Now a majority of the 16-judge Fifth Circuit has voted to vacate the three-judge panel\u2019s decision and for all of them to hear the case together in what is called an <em>en banc<\/em> rehearing.<\/p>\n<p>The case is <em>Texas v.
