We believe everyone benefits when they have access to more ideas and diverse opinions.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cBeing a public company will allow the people that believe in our mission to invest and join us as we seek to restore a free and open internet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/markets\/rumble-going-public-in-challenge-to-big-tech\">Fox Business<\/a> explained that Rumble has experienced impressive growth over the past year:<\/p>\n<p>Rumble, founded in 2013, hit a record 36 million active monthly users in third quarter of 2021, a striking increase from its 1.6 million average monthly users in the same quarter last year. It saw explosive growth around the 2020 presidential election, as major platforms ramped up their stifling of conservative voices and banned reports damaging to Democrats under the guise of squashing \u201cmisinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company has seen several high-profile conservatives join its platform, most notably former President Donald Trump, who was banned by Google-owned YouTube along with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms following the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol by a crowd of his supporters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In October, former President Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-trump-releases-new-details-on-social-media-platform-that-he-is-launching-soon\">revealed<\/a> that he would take Trump Media &amp; Technology Group and TRUTH Social \u2014 his new social media platform \u2014 public via SPAC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech,\u201d Trump said in a statement. \u201cWe live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. The next day, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/twitter-crackdown-video-and-photo-sharing-banned-without-consent-under-first-day-with-new-ceo\">revealed<\/a> that it would restrict sharing videos and photos without consent of the person depicted.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, Agrawal has expressed a willingness to use Twitter\u2019s power to practice viewpoint discrimination.
