Last month, the teen was found not guilty by a jury on all courts.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing in a teaser clip for a documentary from Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Rittenhouse said after the acquittal that the jury \u201creached the right verdict.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSelf-defense is not illegal, and I believe they came to the correct verdict, and I\u2019m glad that everything went well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a rough journey, but we made it through it,\u201d the 18-year-old said. \u201cWe made it through the hard part.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The special follows the teenager through the last year after he fatally shot two men and injured a third while defending himself against attackers during a Black Lives Matter protest that devolved into a riot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the stuff that keeps you up at night, like once you do get to sleep, your dreams are about what happened and you\u2019re waking up in a dark cold sweat,\u201d the teenager revealed to Carlson\u2019s crew.<\/p>\n<p>Rittenhouse revealed that he has dreams about the deadly night \u201cevery single day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s quite scary actually, because the dreams feel so real. And they\u2019re not the same at all, they\u2019re all different. They\u2019re the different scenarios that run through your heard during the day, like, what <em>could<\/em> have happened,\u201d he detailed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m alive, but what could have happened, like what if I wasn\u2019t alive, or what if I did let Mr. Rosenbaum steal my gun? It\u2019s those types of dreams \u2026 almost every outcome is me getting seriously injured or hurt or dead.
