(Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>The White House also reiterated Biden\u2019s support for legal abortion on Thursday, as press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that he believes the Mississippi law \u201cblatantly violates women\u2019s constitutional rights to safe and legal abortions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis case presents a grave threat to women\u2019s fundamental rights, to all of our rights \u2014 as protected under Roe v. Wade for nearly half a century,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Biden claims to be a faithful Catholic \u2014 even though he continues to oppose the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usccb.org\/sites\/default\/files\/flipbooks\/catechism\/548\/\">teaching<\/a> of the Catholic Church that life begins at conception and that abortion is morally wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/03\/white-house-still-cannot-explain-why-devout-catholic-joe-biden-supports-abortion\/\">specifically<\/a> said in September he did not agree with the Church\u2019s teachings on abortion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI respect those who believe life begins at the moment of conception and all \u2026 I respect that. Don\u2019t agree.
