According to Gallup, the poll is the first time a majority has agreed with mandatory vaccinations in a survey, with only 24 per cent supporting it in July, <em>Kronen Zeitung<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.krone.at\/2569692\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"5.7622377622378\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Unvax Tax: Expert Proposes Monthly Fines for the Unvaccinated <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Iwbyw0zu7G\">https:\/\/t.co\/Iwbyw0zu7G<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1463809183401213958?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 25, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Nearly two-thirds of respondents, or 62 per cent, said that they agreed with the government policy to keep unvaccinated people under lockdown restrictions, which could begin on December 12th as the general lockdown is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/austrian-lockdown-extended-through-dec-11-as-planned\/\">expected to be lifted<\/a> by the federal government.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>According to <em>Kronen Zeitung<\/em>, the result of the Gallup survey is in line with another poll released last Sunday by the firm OGM which found that 61 per cent of Austrians agreed with the forced mandatory vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>Those who refuse the mandatory vaccine could face fines <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilgiornale.it\/news\/mondo\/austria-obbligo-vaccinale-e-sanzioni-fino-7200-euro-1992860.html\">as high as \u20ac7,200<\/a> (\u00a36,136\/$8,142), while other reports have claimed that unvaccinated people could even face<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/19\/austria-unvaccinated-could-face-prison-as-country-locks-down-and-announces-vaccine-mandate\/\"> possible prison time<\/a> for refusing to comply.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"6.9775280898876\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Austria: Unvaccinated Could Face Prison as Country Locks Down and Govt Makes Vaccines COMPULSORY <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/WMPcDzhJne\">https:\/\/t.co\/WMPcDzhJne<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1461728473160945669?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 19, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Neighbouring Germany has also made moves towards a mandatory vaccine policy for all in recent days, with incoming Social Democrat German Chancellor Olaf Scholz <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/12\/01\/merkel-successor-sholz-pushes-mandatory-vaccinations-for-germans\/\">stating<\/a> that he would support a vaccine mandate in the country and would vote for it in the German parliament.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy suggestion is that the time by which everyone has been vaccinated is not too far away, so my suggestion: early February or early March,\u201d Scholz, who is expected to lead a leftist coalition of the Social Democrats, the Greens, and the Free Democrats, said this week.<\/p>\n<p>Just days prior, a YouGov poll found that, like Austrians, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/26\/majority-of-germans-support-authoritarian-forced-vax-mandate-poll-finds\/\">majority of Germans<\/a> also agree with forced mandatory vaccinations.
